Weekly Ins and Outs / Project 365

As I have been a bit slow writing this up, it will be an overview of the past two weeks!

Ins:

- Tuesday 14th was of course Valentines Day...Liam and I don't really do anything that special on this day, although it was our 2 years and 9 months and Tuesday is generally our takeaway / meal out day! :) 

I was a nice girlfriend and bought him a Spurs training shirt and the new Final Fantasy game (which I didn't give him until after the meal otherwise we wouldn't have got to go out I'm sure!!)..hence no longer getting any attention off him anymore haha. He was lovely and bought me a me 2 u bear, Professor Layton game and a gorgeous card. I don't know about any of you but I LOVE cards and almost cried with how cute it was and what was written inside.Later on we went out for a curry which was lovely....being obsessed with hearts and seeing heart balloons everywhere made my day! 

- Part of my new year resolutions are to try to clear some of my clutter and get a bit of money saved up...I managed to sell about 20 items on ebay which wasn't bad and is a little dent into my overdraft. - I will be listing more on Wednesday so keep an eye out! 

- At the weekend (18th) Liam and I went home for his parents 25th wedding anniversary. We all got dressed up and celebrated as a big family which was lovely! I had steak and chips...didn't get a photo of the food but was so yummy!

- I am trying to get better at making good food, and although I can't say I properly 'made' this, Liam has really got me into fajitas. So simple and easy to do, but so good..so on Monday, we used a fajita kit....soo good!

- Tuesday was of course Pancake Day! One of my favourite days of the year. I like my pancakes simple...lemon and sugar and had great fun making them with the housemates :)

- At the weekend I went home..my parents and I went to watch my brother play hockey in Birmingham and then in the evening I caught up with a couple of friends at home who I hadn't seen in ages. We had such a fun night, loads of giggles and ended up going out into town just the three of us. What was better, was that work was paying me holiday for that weekend - love getting paid for not being there!

Outs:

 - Valentines Day was going so well, until I broke the blind in Liam's room..oops. It kinda just decided to not move properly and now doesn't close. That is almost why I waited until after the meal to give Liam his new Xbox game, to try to make up for the blind!!

- Got some guy on Ebay telling me he has paid for two items when I have only received one Paypal payment as he has just pressed that he has sent payment for the other...what's more annoying, he's Spanish and speaks very little English so it is so hard to try to explain that I need him to pay for the other...arghhh.

- When I went home and had a lovely meal with Liam's family, the next morning I went to move my car onto their drive after his brother and sister-in law had gone home, and my handbrake decided to break. Liam and his dad had just joked to make sure I didn't scratch his dad's new Jag, so when I rung in a frantic panic and just screamed "Come outside" as I didn't know what to do, they thought I had actually bumped into it! Thankfully, it is now all fixed and I can park all fine.

- Whilst my car was at home for the week getting its handbrake fixed, the garage also decided to look at another problem...It has started leaking water into the drivers footwell and behind the seat...after looking on google it seems to be quite a common problem with 54 / 05 plate corsa's! :( Bad times.

Project 365 - #008, #009, #010. #011, #012, #013

Soo, I am a very bad blogger and am slacking somewhat in the Project 365!! However, I have still taken a photo every day and have decided to do a weekly project 365 showing the 7 photos from that week...almost like a weekly in's and outs!

So, for the past almost week..

#008 - Thursday 2nd February - all I did was work! (sorry for the photo not being my own!)

#009 - Friday 3rd February was all about job interview day! I managed to secure an interview for a teaching assistant at a really amazing school in Manchester. Sadly, I didn't get it :( but I got through the first stage whilst we were there to actually get an interview! Better luck next time! Obviously this wasn't me, but this is how I felt having the headteacher, deputy head and head of the department there!

#010 - Saturday 4th February - It snowed!! :) This was the first snow I'd seen all winter....my housemate and I had gone to dunelm buying a few bits for the house and next minute we looked outside and it was snowing! :) Liam and I then went to town to get a few bits and this was the view out of the Arndale centre!!

#011 - Sunday 5th February - Liam and I had noodles and chicken for tea, have to say it was scrummy!! (is that even a word?!)

#012 - Monday 6th February - Nothing much happened today but I have decided I want to start madly saving again! - I want to make sure I go for a nice summer holiday this year, but also neeeeeed some new lenses for my SLR camera so any spare change is going in this little pot that I can't open :)

#013 - Tuesday 7th February - Again, just worked all day, found out I didn't get the job :( boohoo! and spent all evening listing items onto the Bay of the E that is Ebay! Take a peek ...items end a week on Friday!

I have decided that Saturday's or Sunday's are going to be my day / night of posting the Project 365's so this week will be a shorter one as have posted loads just now!

Can you believe tomorrow I have been blogging for a year?!! Something exciting will be coming up! xxx

Project 365 - #007

Soo I had a huge surprise today going into work and looking for old payslips when I came across one for this month...I was at home for the whole of Christmas and hadn't worked, but they'd put holiday pay through for me...amazing surprise! 

(Obviously, for security I have just found an image off google for today's post!)

Project 365 - #005 and #006

Really sorry I'm only just putting up yesterday's photo...I was applying for jobs, working, came home from work and got ready straight away to go out for a friend's 21st..busy day! As it's valentines fast approaching (where has January gone?!!) I've been seeing lots of cute cards. Anyone that knows me knows I love cards and would love to get one of those huuuuge ones hehe! Saw this and thought it was lovely :) 

Today I woke up feeling absolutely awful.....I haven't drunk in a while so it hit me hard!! Luckily I had the day off work so when Liam came back from uni we decided to go out for a meal. We went to Chiquito's as have only been there once and loved it. I had Chicken & BBQ ribs with chips and coleslaw which was amazing, and even better we had a voucher to get a free starter or dessert so shared a starter platter which had BBQ chicken wings, garlic bread, onion rings, nachos, corn on the cob, and chilli poppers mmmm!

Project 365 - #004

As Liam and I were travelling back up to Manchester tonight, mum made us a roast dinner plated up to take back up with us - best thing about a Sunday!! Only problem was, most of the gravy escaped :(

Project 365 - #003

I stayed at my boyfriend's house last night as he came back from Manchester for the weekend. Nothing was really planned for this weekend though as all I'm doing is working!

Lovelyyyyyy....although makes it all the more worthwhile when payday comes!

Project 365 - #002

I have literally just managed to get access to a computer which is the reason for my not posting yesterday on this project. 
However, I had infact taken a photo early on in the day.... I woke up, came downstairs, looked out of the window and this was the first view I saw..11 Canadian Geese and a load of ducks outside on our fishing pool! I can't wait until the summer to see all of the birds flying over and dipping into the pool to cool themselves off!

Project 365 - #001

For the first time since June I've had my hair done today. I love having it cut, coloured and straightened as it just feels so light and lovely! As much as I try, I can never ever get it to go as my hairdresser does it though!-Anyone else find that or just me?! Can't believe how long it's got even though it has had a cut - love it! :)

Project 365: How to take a photo a day and see your life in a whole new way ♥

Some of my friends have recently started a project called Project 365. Even though they have just started, I have loved seeing these photos pop up every day on my feed!

Project 365 is all about documenting a year of your life through a single photo. As I love my photography, I have easily been influenced to start this project! 

Also, on the front page of our local newspaper it showed a photographer who has been doing this for a couple of years now...this has told me I need to do it! He posts his photos to a website called Blipfoto which I think I may start adding mine to, as well as posting on here.
