My Weekend :)
I have had such a lovely weekend which started with the Royal wedding! Zara, Kayla and I all sat watching it in our pjs just sat in bed and I really didn't think I'd get so into it as I did, but as soon as I turned the tele on I was glued to the screen! Kate looked beautiful! I know she had to cover up her arms but think this made the dress look a little outdated..however she still looked stunning!
Even more so in her second wedding dress of the day! What a teeeeny waist she has!
The whole service made me feel so emotional, and the kiss on the balcony! I think it just made everyone relate with how 'normal' a girl she is / was before marrying into the Royal family, especially as she opted for doing her makeup herself on her big day! For anyone that was watching, I'm sure they can agree with me about how they couldn't stop watching and am sure the whole nation did a little gasp when William had to force the ring onto her finger!
Having watched that, I went to go and meet Liam at the bus station as he has been here this weekend..he wasn't too happy as I was a little late because I didn't want to miss the kiss - oopsie!! Once I went to meet him, we and the girls all went to get a carvery..soo scrummy!! Liam and I don't normally like spending a lot of money buying food out when we already have to pay to visit each other, but as we've just got our loans this weekend was an exception!
Friday night was nice as we all just sat in the kitchen / lounge of our flat just chatting..we have all had soo much work to do recently, that it has been hard to catch up properly even though I live in the same flat as Kayla and Zara so was nice for us to just relax and have a few drinks altogether :) Liam and I then got a charco's takeaway - I would say pretty much the same as Nandos but cheaper! mmmm!
Saturday Liam and I just relaxed and didn't really do much apart from a bit of window shopping..however, we went to watch Spurs play Chelsea at Walkabout...a football match I think every Spurs fan is still fuming at!....If there was goal-line technology, which there should be, Spurs would have won 1-0, however, without it, and after a goal which did NOT go over the line and an offside goal later, they lost 2-1 :( This now makes it hugely difficult to get 4th place....even more so, fighting to get 5th place as Liverpool are right there with us. But just gotta hope Spurs win the last few games now..fingers crossed!
Today Liam went home, and we've been looking for holidays for the summer :) If anyone knows of any good 4*/5* hotels with all inclusive for 2weeks (preferably) leaving around 1st July..under £500pp let us know!!
Am off to get ready for 'the only way is essex' now and get my pasta bake out of the oven-mmm! so that's all for now! Might have a look on paprika website too as still have that £10 voucher to use...
Gina xoxo
