Quote of the Week!

Saw this quote the other day and just loved it..I know it's quite long but is so so true!!

“This life is what you make it.
No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes,
it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide
how you're going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends -
they'll act like it anyway.
But just remember, some come, some go.
The ones that stay with you through everything -
they're your true best friends.
Don't let go of them.
Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world.
As for lovers, well, they'll come and go too.
And babe, I hate to say it, most of them -
actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart,
but you can't give up because if you give up,
you'll never find your soul mate.
You'll never find that half who makes you whole
and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once,
doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything.
Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always
believe in yourself, because if you don't,
then who will, sweetie?
So keep your head high, keep your chin up,
and most importantly, keep smiling,
because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about.” ♥

Weekly Ins and Outs

Ins:

- Again, all I seem to be doing is working recently, but on the plus side of this.. Peter Barlow casually came into work on Wednesday! He asked if we sold swimming gloves..which I thought was a bit weird but still, I've spoken to a famous person haha! Carla was also in with him, but I didn't see her as was stuck on a till!

- The weekend just gone was very busy and had a great time...Liam and I travelled down to South Wales as he was playing Dodgeball on the Sunday. We stayed with his half sister and her husband (who I met for the first time!) They are soo lovely and we had a great time. Wales won the Grand Slam on the Saturday which meant lots of drink was drunk and everyone was very merry! Then on the Sunday Liam played Dodgeball for Wales in an International competition! And they came second which they were so pleased with..so proud of him!

- Whilst we were away at the weekend, Liam's best friend rung him...his girlfriend is 5 months pregnant and they were finding out the sex of the baby. However, I told Chris to tell me at the same time as Liam, yet they both found it hugely funny to not tell me for a good hour after Chris and Laura had found out...typical boys eh?! But, the baby is a girl! And is going to have the beautiful name of Lilly Jade. I am soo excited! Especially as Liam has been asked to be Godfather so am hoping to see the baby lots! :)

- Continuing on with baby talk, Liam's sister in law is pregnant! They however are not finding out the sex, but the baby is due on the 6th September..all of my family are quite grown up so I am really looking forward to having babies running..well crawling around me and perhaps being called Auntie!

Outs:

- Over the weekend, we were listening to the Spurs game on the radio (as all the pubs we went to were continuing to show the rugby..which I am quite glad for now.) Not long into the game as I'm sure most people aware, a player collapsed on the pitch. All we knew was that something seriously bad was happening. We were all just sat stunned staring at the radio longing for someone to say that Fabrice Muamba was breathing again...however, this didn't happen for a long while. I still cannot quite believe that it took the medics two whole hours to get him breathing again! But I am glad to hear he is in a stable condition and hope he makes a full recovery. That just made us realise how short life is..after all, I am nearly the age he is!

Other than that, the past week has been fantastic with lots of great news!

Quote of the Week!

A very late Weekly Ins and Outs

Ins:

- I have been working loads this week trying to get as much money as I can before the cut off date!..This means I haven't been doing a lot else.. Not sure if that is an in or an out but definitely will be on pay day!

- On Tuesday, I met up with an old uni friend in Manchester..she had come up to go out for her birthday and we thought we needed a good catch up! We went to Pizza Hut and had the buffet but no, thankfully we didn't have the weird waiter that we did when I went with Rachel and Charlotte (two of my blogger girls)! Was so nice to just relax, do a bit of shopping, and have a good giggle! I need to make more of an effort to meet up with friends who I haven't seen in ages.

A bag I really love in Primark!

- Wednesday I just worked again, but made sure Liam and I were in for a relaxing lazy evening as we needed it! We just watched the football on tv and ordered a takeaway as we hadn't had one for ages-yes, really lazy as the takeaway we ordered from is literally 5mins walk! Lazy to a whole new level!

- It was International Women's Day on Thursday and when I told this to Liam he just replied how I should be in the kitchen making sandwiches then...how rude! I didn't do anything different for it other than work then relax all evening again!

- Friday has turned into my cleaning / tidying / washing day as I normally have the day off work...I wouldn't say that is an 'In' but at least it keeps me busy! Got so excited though, (people on twitter may already know!)..on my way back from doing the food shop I saw some big lorries with cameras inside that I had seen the week before...then I saw a production team, cameras, and a director! I made sure as soon as my housemate got back from uni we went to have a look! We have since found out that Daniel Mays and Sheridan Smith are in it..and the filming is for a new ITV program called 'Mrs.Biggs.' How exciting!!

- At the weekend, Liam was away in Watford with the boys playing Dodgeball so Katy and I had some girlie evenings involving drinking wine and making pink cupcakes! They were soo yummy! We got a McDonalds one night and they gave us 3 McFlurry's instead of 2, so we had a huge one each!! :)

- I have also managed to sell more things on ebay and make a little bit more money! - This has been a busy week!

Outs:
- Should have never ever told Ben (my housemate) that Nerf guns were on offer in Sainsbury's..now I just keep getting fired at by Liam and Ben :(

That is about it...I am in a good mood! :) xx

Weekly Ins and Outs

Ins:
- Firstly, thank you and hello to all my new followers! I am almost at 70 (which some people would say is nothing, but every single follower means so much to me..so thank you! And if you get the time, at the side of my blog there is a poll to see what everyone would like to see more of on here.

- I have had pay days from both of my jobs within the past week which means good looking bank balance (if you don't count the overdraft!) Just also means I have to save as much as I can for chipping away my overdraft before getting charged interest.

- I actually won a competition! I was a winner of some 'Fade Out Anti Shadow Brightening Eye Cream' which I will be reviewing and showing you later on in the month.

- This week I seem to have been doing a lot of complaining! - I got some gorgeous new shoes from Republic in the post, but they arrived with a chip in them and and a pen mark. There were no more left in the sale so I complained about them and they gave me a £5 refund...considering they were down to £15 in the sale I was very happy! Also, less exciting... Liam and I bought some fridge pasta from Morrisons which went off 2 days before the sell by date. Again, I complained about this and literally 2 days later, I had £4 vouchers sent to me in the post!-Very impressed with both company's services.

- Something I had completely forgotten about was a website I used over Christmas called TopCashback. Whenever I bought something I used this site and over the Christmas period racked up £11's worth of cashback which has been processed and now put into my bank..anything to please me eh?! If you want to use this site, read a review I posted a while back on it here.

Outs:
- The issue with the Spanish man on ebay is STILL ongoing...Arghh! On the other hand I am going to plug a cheeky link to more of my life that I am selling on ebay!

- I have managed to break my digital camera that Liam bought me for christmas :( It was working perfectly then just decided to not turn on or not go past the date / time screen. Brillllllliant. Other than that, the past week has been pretty good :)

Hope you have all had a good week,

Gina xoxo
